NASHVILLE (CelebrityAccess) – 21-time Grammy Award winner Vince Gill will be the first artist to perform at Nashville’s brand new 2,000-seat indoor performing arts venue, the Brown County Music Center, when it officially opens its doors this summer.
Brown County attracts more than 3 million visitors each year, according to AP, however, the county has lacked a big concert venue since the Little Nashville Opry venue was destroyed back in 2009 following an arson fire.
The Center’s Executive Director Dana Beth Evans tells The Indianapolis Star that the $12.5 million concert hall will have beer and family gardens and state-of-the-art sound and lighting.
Gill is scheduled to take the stage for the venue’s inaugural performance August 24.
Additional artists scheduled to perform at the venue this year include Tesla, Clint Black, George Thorogood & The Destroyers and more.
