LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) — While it shouldn’t be a surprise that an artist with P!nk’s commitment to her craft would have a successful tour, figures revealed by Live Nation on Tuesday showed just how successful that tour has been.
According to Live Nation, P!nk has sold an eye-popping 2.9 million tickets since she launched her current Beautiful Trauma World Tour.
The tour, in support of her seventh studio album Beautiful Trauma was named one of the top 10 tours of 2018 and it’s still going. When the final curtain comes down, P!nk will have performed 156 shows across four continents, including 87 shows in North America, where the moved more than 1.2 million tix, and 27 shows in Europe & the UK in front of 1.1 million fans.
As well, she’s notched up 35 shows in Australia, with almost 500,000 in ticket sales and 7 shows in New Zealand, to the tune of 130,000 tickets sold.
During the tour, P!nk also managed to slip in enough studio to record her 8th studio album Hurts To Be Human, which is due to hit the shelves, digital or otherwise, on April 26th.
P!ink is currently in the midst of a North American segment, with upcoming shows planned for Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Detroit, Toronto and more, before wrapping in that states on May 22, 2019 at Madison Square Garden in New York City. She then heads across the pond for another round of European dates before the whole thing is said and done after a performance in The Hague, the Netherlands on August 11th.
