LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) – Concord Music Publishing has inked a deal with songwriter, producer, A&R executive and Grammy-winning recording engineer/mixer, Noah Goldstein, to represent his full catalog and future works.
Goldstein began his career in New York City at the iconic Electric Lady Studios, helping to engineer records for artists like M.I.A., Nas, Mos Def, Rihanna, and many others. But, it was his work on Arcade Fire’s Grammy-Award winning album, The Suburbs, that piqued the interest of Kanye West and led to an eight-year stint working as a producer, A&R, engineer and touring audio director for West’s label G.O.O.D. Music.
Goldstein has since collaborated on numerous award-winning albums including My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, Yeezus, The Life of Pablo (Kanye West), Watch The Throne (Kanye West & JAY Z), Blonde, Endless (Frank Ocean), Daytona (Pusha T), Kids See Ghosts (Kanye West & Kid Cudi), Hopelessness (Anohni), Rodeo (Travis Scott) and More Life (Drake). In early 2018, Goldstein was appointed Senior Vice President of A&R for Columbia Records.
Concord and Goldstein have also partnered on a joint venture to sign developing and established artists and writers.
The first signing to the JV is Minneapolis based songwriter/producer, Simon Christensen aka Psymun, a former member of the group The Stand4rd.
