LONDON (CelebrityAccess) — AEG, owner and operator of The O2 and The SSE Arena, Wembley, along with ticketing partner AXS has launched Flash Mobile Delivery and AXS Official Resale; an official secondary ticket marketplace which will prevent the resale of tickets for profit and become the only legitimate way to resell tickets that guarantees entry to both venues.
The service, first announced last June, allows fans to exchange or resell tickets to events at the two venues but caps the resale price to 10% of the face value of the ticket, removing the incentive for speculation\
The service is the only legitimate for fans to resell or buy secondary market tickets for the two venues and customers will be able to see both primary and resale tickets together, allowing them to pick the best price from the available options. Customers who buy tickets from other resale platforms, risk having their tickets canceled and entry denied, AEG said.
The launch also includes mobile ticketing and AXS’s Flash Mobile Delivery. Through this technology, all tickets are assigned to individuals and include a unique digital ID. This includes a dynamically changing barcode system, which ensures that the tickets cannot be illegally duplicated while allowing tickets to be shared with friends via mobile devices.
