Bemidji, MN (CelebrityAccess) — Steve Peters, owner, and president of VenuWorks, announced on Wednesday that Jeff Kossow has resigned from his role as Executive Director of the Sanford Center.
A longtime member of the VenuWorks team, Kossow served as director of the venue since 2016. He previously served as director of the Three Rivers Convention Center, Toyota Center and the Toyota Arena.
Kossow has accepted an executive leadership position at a law firm and will be relocating his family to Kennewick (WA), VenuWorks said.
“I am very thankful for Jeff’s leadership at VenuWorks. He will be greatly missed; however, I understand and support his decision to make this transition,” said Peters.
“Jeff Kossow has made significant contributions to the Sanford Center and the community of Bemidji (MN). He has been a tremendous asset and we are grateful for everything he has accomplished, I wish him and his family the very best,” said Mayor Rita Albrecht.
VenuWorks will conduct a national search for Kossow’s successor. After identifying the top candidates, VenuWorks and the City of Bemidji will collectively interview and hire the next leader of the Sanford Center.
“I am confident working with Steve Peters and the VenuWorks executive leadership team, we will hire an exceptional leader to build upon the recent success at the Sanford Center,” said Mayor Albrecht.
Kossow’s last day at the Sanford Center will be June 30th.
