GERMANY (CelebrityAccess) – Reeperbahn Festival recently announced plans to continue to expand its activities as the main European music platform for international and transcultural exchange.
Under the title “Reeperbahn Festival International“, spin-offs will be established in Nashville, Beijing, New York, Accra and Los Angeles with the support of the German Federal Foreign Office. These spin-offs will promote cooperation between German and European artists and artists from the respective destinations and enable the co-organization of new networks between music industry players.
Public showcases featuring German and European artists and artists from the local music scenes are the core of the respective spin-offs and are complemented by matchmaking events and the involvement of delegation participants in the respective conferences of the partner organizers.
Representatives of internationally-oriented music companies from Germany and Europe can now apply to participate in the Reeperbahn Festival spin-offs in Nashville (5–8 May), Beijing (18–19 May) or New York (17–20 June). Prerequisite for participation is activity in the recorded, publishing, distribution or management fields and a concrete interest in the US or Chinese music market.
