TEL AVIV, Israel (CelebrityAccess) — German ticket service and promoter CTS Eventim has expanded its footprint in Israel with the launch of a new research and development center in the Middle Eastern nation.
Ami Feinstein, managing director of Eventim’s Israeli operation, told Israeli business news site Calcalist that the new center is the company’s first development entity located outside of Germany.
Feinstein told Calcalist that research focuses at the new facility include a new prediction system aimed at estimating potential ticket sales for different events.
“We have the ability to cross check our own data with data coming from different services such as Last.fm and Spotify, and from tools such as Google Trends,” Feinstein told Calcalist.
CTS Event is the largest ticketing company in Israel and has operated offices in the country since 2011.
News of the new research center follows a period of expansion for Eventim that includes recent acquisitions in Russia, Spain, Italy, and Scandinavia and comes after the company announced the launch of a pan-European promoter network at this year’s ILMC conference in March.
