BANGKOK, Thailand (CelebrityAccess) — English synthpop duo Pet Shop Boys announced that they were “disappointed” to have to cancel an upcoming performance in Thailand.
The duo, comprised of Neil Tennant and Chris Lowe were set to perform in at the Impact Exhibition Hall in Bangkok, Thailand, on April 4 but announced that the show was canceled due to ‘circumstances beyond our control.’
Live Nation made a similar statement, noting that “Neil and Chris are very disappointed and apologize to their fans for any disappointment and inconvenience caused.”
The Pet Shop Boys have additional shows scheduled in Southeast Asia, including stops in Singapore, Hong Kong, and Japan. At the time of publication, those shows appear to be a go.
The group’s next performance is scheduled for March 26th at the Star Theatre in Singapore.
