(CelebrityAccess) — Last week, after the untimely passing of The Prodigy frontman Keith Flint, the band canceled all of their upcoming tour dates, including four high profile festival performances.
Now, Danny Wimmer Presents, the company behind those festival dates, has announced updates lineups for all four shows.
The Crystal Method has been announced as a replacement for The Prodigy at the Welcome to Rockville festival in Jacksonville, Florida, on May 3rd, and at the Epicenter festival when it takes place in Rockingham, North Carolina, on May 10th.
“The music community was dealt another incredible loss on March 4th with the untimely passing of The Prodigy’s Keith Flint. As part of the group’s first North American tour in a decade, they were scheduled to play #WelcometoRockville this year and we are devastated they will no longer be able to perform. The Crystal Method has stepped in to bring you an unforgettable performance in their place,” a rep for DWP said on the festival’s social media.
As well, Papa Roach has been announced as a replacement for The Prodigy at Sonic Temple in Columbus, Ohio, on May 18th, while rock icons The Cult will perform in place of The Prodigy at Chicago Open Air in Bridgeview, Illinois on May 19th.
We’re honored to step in for our brothers in The Prodigy at Sonic Temple on Saturday night,” says Papa Roach frontman Jacoby Shaddix. “They are such an influential band for us. We’re gonna celebrate, it’s gonna be a great night. We love you guys and we CAN’T WAIT to see you out there.”
