(CelebrityAccess) Massive Attack has announced it has postponed most of its upcoming North American tour because of illness.
The band was expected to celebrate the 21st anniversary of its groundbreaking album Mezzanine with shows starting in Montreal March 11 but all but one have been pushed back.
“We regret to announce that the upcoming Mezzanine XXI shows in the USA and Canada have been postponed due to illness,” the band said on Facebook. “The shows will be rescheduled for this fall, with a full announcement to be made on Thursday March 14th. All current tickets will be valid for the new dates.
“The band are deeply sorry for any inconvenience and are looking forward to bringing the show to the USA and Canada soon.”
A representative said that the April 6 date in Toluca, Mexico, at the Ceremonia Festival is still on the books.
