TOKYO, Japan (CelebrityAccess) — The Japanese iteration of the metal-oriented Download Festival announced Judas Priest as the new headliner, filling in for Ozzy Osbourne, who canceled due to health issues.
Judas Priest, who is currently on the road with their Firepower world tour, will headline the March 21st festival with other metal icons including Slayer, Halestorm, Amaranthe, Ghost, Anthrax, Sum 41 and more.
Ozzy, who was hospitalized for pneumonia, postponed his entire European and Asian/South Pacific tour earlier this month.
Judas Priest is also scheduled for a short tour of Australia, as well as a North American run later this year.
Their previously scheduled double-bill tour with Ozzy will be rescheduled for later this year.
