Marshmello also updated his official tour itinerary to include the Pleasant Park event on February 2nd. As well, Fortnite developers have added in-game posters advertising the apparent concert, which is scheduled to start at 2 p.m. EST.
Tying in with the teased performance, Fortnite developers Epic Games released a slew of digital merch such as skins and in-game cosmetics in their digital store on Thursday, coinciding with the announcement.
Marshmello is one of the numerous artists in recent months who have expressed an affinity for the game. In June, he won an official Fortnite tournament with popular streamer and social media personality Tyler “Ninja” Blevins.
