LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) — Rapper Cardi B had a seemingly awkward moment when her estranged husband Offset stormed the stage during one of Cardi’s shows to try to patch things up with his wife after the two apparently split up earlier this month.
Cardi B was performing at the Rolling Loud Festival at the Banc of California Stadium on Saturday when Offset joined her on stage to offer flowers, a cake, and what seemed to be a sincere public apology.

How she took the gesture was not entirely clear, though she didn’t look pleased. A fan-captured video of the moment shows them in brief, quiet conversation after his apology, which was broadcast on the stadium’s P.A. system.
Following the attempted apology, Offset has taken quite a bit of heat on social media, with fans criticizing Offset for intruding on Cardi B’s place of work. However, Cardi B has asked her fans to leave poor Offset alone.
“I wanna say, thank you very much to you guys that been supporting me and loving me, that feel like they need to defend me,” she wrote in a social media post on Sunday. “Right, wrong or indifferent. I don’t want people to keep doing f— sh–, saying f— sh–. Violating my baby father is not going to make me feel any better ’cause at the end of the day, that’s still family.”
Some observers have also suggested that the apology was a publicity stunt and a post by TMZ appeared to show a woman identified as Cardi B’s PR rep Patience leading Offset to the stage during the show.
However, Mrs. B has since stated she was unaware of the the plan and voiced her support for Patience.
