LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) — Actress and fashion model Kim Porter, a longtime former partner of music entrepreneur Sean “Diddy” Combs, died on Thursday. She was 47.
“Sadly, I can confirm the passing of Kim Porter. I ask that you give the families privacy at this time,” Cindi Berger, a publicist for Combs told TMZ on Thursday.
Porter, who dated Combs, had three children — 11-year-old twin daughters Jessie James and D’Lila, and son Christian Combs, 20 — with the former rapper.
A cause of death was not disclosed, but TMZ reported that emergency services were called to Porter’s Los Angeles home around noon to respond to a patient in cardiac distress.
A separate source told TMZ that Porter had been suffering from “flu-like symptoms” for several weeks.
Combs and Porter met in 1994 and dated until 2007.
A native of Columbia, Georgia, Porter graduated high school in 1998 and relocated to Atlanta to pursue an entertainment career.
She appeared in numerous television shows, including Wicked, Wicked Games (2006-2007), I Want To Work For Diddy (2008), Single Ladies (2011), and Can’t Stop, Won’t Stop: A Bad Boy Story (2017).
Her film work includes The Brothers (2001), and Mama I Want to Sing (2011).
