NEW YORK (CelebrityAccess) — Aerosmith guitarist Joe Perry took to Twitter on Tuesday to let his fans know he was on the mend.
Doing well, thanks for all the love and support!

Perry was rushed to the hospital on Saturday after he reported suffering from shortness of breath following a performance of the Aerosmith hit “Walk this Way” with Billy Joel at Madison Square Garden.
Perry was treated backstage by first responders, who gave him oxygen and used a tracheal tube to clear his airway before they were able to move him to a medical facility.
According to TMZ, Perry has been experiencing breathing issues for weeks, reportedly stemming from congestion in his lungs, which apparently came to the fore on Saturday.
Perry, along with the rest of Aerosmith have a busy start to 2019, with a performance scheduled for the Super Bowl LIII Music Fest in February and the band’s Deuces Are Wild residency in Las Vegas, which kicks off in February.
