EUGENE, Ore. (CelebrityAccess) A woman is suing the University of Oregon of injuries she claims she sustained during a Def Leppard concert at the university’s Matthew Knight Arena in Eugene, Ore., in September 2016.
The plaintiff, Anne Holder, is seeking $215,213 in damages for broken teeth, a torn breast implant, bruises and scrapes when she tripped on a metal barrier and fell face-first onto the ground, according to the city’s Register-Guard.
Holder claims in her lawsuit, filed last week in Lane County Circuit Court, that she paid $800 for her ticket but her injuries caused her to miss the concert. She claims the university negligently put the raised, metal barrier in a high-traffic area and low-light conditions obstructed her perception of the barrier.
The suit seeks $200,000 for pain, suffering and loss of lifestyle, $14,413 for past and future medical bills and $800 for the ticket, according to the newspaper.
A spokesman for the university said it had not seen the lawsuit and could not comment.
