NEW YORK (CelebrityAccess) — Disgraced Hollywood mogul Harvey Weinstein is facing a raft of new criminal charges on Monday, accusing him of sexually assaulting a woman and engaging in a pattern of sex crimes.

The charges came after Weinstein was indicted by a Manhattan Grand Jury on Monday, and include an additional count of a criminal sexual act in the first degree for a forcible sexual act against a third woman in 2006, as well as two counts of predatory sexual assault.

The charges were in addition to a previous indictment that included counts of rape in the first and third degrees, as well as criminal sexual act in the first degree, for forcible sexual acts against two women in 2013 and 2004, respectively.

“A Manhattan Grand Jury has now indicted Harvey Weinstein on some of the most serious sexual offenses that exist under New York’s Penal Law,” said Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus Vance Jr. “This indictment is the result of the extraordinary courage exhibited by the survivors who have come forward. Our investigation continues.”

Prosecutors have not named the alleged victims in either New York case, but it may be a woman who charged Weinstein of sexual assault in an article in the New Yorker in October.

If convicted, Weinstein could be in prison for the rest of his life. Predatory sexual assault alone is a class A-II felony which carries a minimum sentence of 10 years and a maximum sentence of life imprisonment, according to the D.A.’s office.

Mr. Weinstein has maintained his innocence and has repeatedly denied engaging in nonconsensual sex with anyone.
