Tidal experienced a strong bump following the release of Jay Z and Beyonce’s “Everything is Love” album on Saturday. A 36 hour Tidal album exclusive drove the streamer’s app up 37 spots to #3 in the iTunes app store music category.
As of Thursday, Tidal was #3 on the iTunes top grossing music apps chart, besting Spotify at #4. But it had fallen back to #14 in music app downloads.
