LOS ANGELES, (CelebrityAccess) — Noted ’90s era boyband 98 Degrees announced plans for a Holiday-themed tour of North America, set for later this year.
The 98° at Christmas 2018 tour kicks off on Thursday, Nov. 1 at Club Regent Event Centre in Winnipeg, Manitoba and ends Friday, Dec. 21 in Appleton, Wisconsin, when the group performs at the Fox Cities Peforming Arts Center.
98 Degrees, which includes Nick and Drew Lachey, Justin Jeffre, and Jeff Timmons, is notable as the only of the major boy bands from that era to be formed independently and then signed to a label, rather than being spun up by a label or producer.
The group formed in 1996, and enjoyed early success when their debut “98 Degrees & Rising” sold more than 4 million copies with several charting singles, but they parted ways in 2002 while members of the group pursued solo endeavors.
98 Degrees reformed in 2012 after reuniting for a one-off appearance at the Mixtape Festival and have released a pair of albums since then, including last year’s holiday themed “Let It Snow” which also saw the group doing a holiday tour.
