LONDON (CelebrityAccess) Deadmau5 is booked to play London’s 5,000-capacity Printworks in November, but the EDM artist did not celebrate that the show sold out quickly.
Tickets for the Nov. 16 event apparently got gobbled up on Ticketweb.uk within five minutes but, as happens, about 200 of the tickets showed up on the secondary ticketing platform Viagogo (about 75 are currently left). A fan complained about the situation to Deadmau5, who launched into the following Tweet storm:

alright so… we’ve instructed @TicketWebUK to clean up the shit mess they’ve made. so i have to leave it to them to do that…. in addition, im looking into producing an additional event with the promoters… without Ticketweb 🙂

The storm erupted 24 hours after Nine Inch Nails announced its North American tour would use a stone-age concept to combat scalping. Trent Reznor posted the following on the band’s website: “Here’s how it works: You (an actual human being) show up at the box office, interact with the ticket seller (another actual human being) and purchase up to four tickets that will actually be handed to you on the spot.”
