KANSAS CITY, Mo. (CelebrityAccess) A Yo Gotti concert at the Uptown Theater in Kansas City, Mo., was cut short when a person was shot and killed in a nearby parking lot May 11.
The rapper was onstage around 11:30 pm when police got a call that someone had been shot nearby, according to TMZ. The victim was pronounced dead on the scene.
A fight had broken out and someone fired a gun in the middle of the dispute, according to witnesses. It was not apparent at press time if the incident involved those who attended the concert, although the parking lot was apparently quite close to the venue.
