FRESNO, Calif. (CelebrityAccess) Maybe this writer’s hometown of Fresno, Calif., is blessed with one of the more amazing shows of the decade – or it’s a testing ground for a potential tour: Neil Young & Crazy Horse.
The group hasn’t played together since 2014, and tickets are going to go for $55 to $199.50, according to the Fresno Bee. Neil Young Archives announced the show with the message “Fresno. May 1 and 2. First time in a long time, Live on stage. No rehearsal. PRE-SALE TICKETS AVAILABLE ONLY THROUGH NYA. 24 hours only.”
Well, that’s an interesting place to do a one-off – a 2,000-capacity venue in the middle of Bumdirtyword, Egypt.
A quick note: This is the exact same theatre where Journey tested its first singer of the post-Steve Perry era, Steve Augeri. That wasn’t a one-off.
Then again, it’s Neil Young, and he does this kind of stuff.
Their last performance together was in Reykjavík, Iceland. Golly, they might even play “Powderfinger.”
