LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) — Today multi-platinum, award-winning Colombian artist J Balvin announced that he was hitting the road for a North American run.

J Balvin’s 27-date “Vibras” tour is produced by Live Nation and kicks off on September 19 in Fresno, CA, with stops in major markets that include Los Angeles, New York, Miami, Chicago, Las Vegas, Houston before wrapping on October 18th in Miami.

The “Vibras” tour is in support of J Balvin’s forthcoming album of the same name, which is slated for release on May 25th via Capitol Latin.

J Balvin has already had a highly successful year, striking gold with his music on streaming services such as YouTube and Spotify. He’s recorded collabs with a whose who in the world of pop and R&B including Beyoncé, Cardi B, Justin Bieber, Pharrell Williams, Camila Cabello, Nicky Jam, Bad Bunny, Liam Payne and many more.

The tour is being “powered” by sponsor Buchanan’s Whisky, purveyors of blended scotch whisky, through their ongoing partnership with J Balvin for the brand’s Es Nuestro Momento (It’s Our Time) campaign. The campaign is intended to mark the positive effect Latino artists have on mass culture. The alcohol-maker also operates Buchanan’s Forever, a music enrichment program that has collaborated with numerous musical artists over the years, including Bon Jovi, James Blunt, Elton John, Sting, Fonseca, and Fito Páez.

Japanese automotive giant Toyota has also signed on to sponsor the tour, as the “exclusive automotive sponsor” of the run. It’s the brand’s second time supporting J Balvin on the road after they sponsored his first successful U.S. tour, “La Familia” with Becky G in 2015.
