LONDON, UK (CelebrityAccess) – Sony Music UK has announced that First Access Entertainment’s Cassandra Gracey will step into the role of President of its newly launched creative department, 4th Floor Creative Group.
Gracey, who was with First Access for 15 years and previously worked with artists including Sugababes, Conor Maynard, Iggy Azalea, Rita Ora and Ellie Goulding, will now be overseeing the label’s branding, sync, insight, creative and digital departments.
Jason Iley, Chairman and CEO of Sony Music UK & Ireland, said: “I’ve always wanted to work with Cassandra, who is a highly respected, dynamic executive and I’m delighted she has agreed to join the management team at Sony Music UK. Her huge personality, determination and creative vision are a huge asset to our company.”
Gracey will now head up a team of 60 whose aim it will be to provide artists with an “all-encompassing perspective in order to accomplish their creative vision in an ever-changing and complex digital landscape”.
Of her new role, Gracey added: “I am grateful for the opportunity that Jason has given me to be leading a passionate, diverse and exciting team of people working within 4th Floor Creative.
“I am confident that our combined skills will contribute hugely to Sony’s ongoing success.”
