FARMINGVILLE, NY (CelebrityAccess) — Live Nation announced plans for a long-term deal with Long Island Events, LLC, that will see the company cast as the exclusive promoter of The Amphitheater at Bald Hill in Farmingville, Long Island, formerly Pennysaver Amphitheater.
As a part of the agreement, Live Nation will oversee ticketing, marketing, strategic planning and, of course, programming at the 7,000 person venue, starting with its upcoming 2018 season.
“Live Nation and their New York team have been longtime associates of ours and we look forward to our future plans together to make The Amphitheater at Bald Hill an even better and more exciting concert and events center for all Long Island residents and visitors”, says John Caracciolo, CEO of Long Island Events.
Live Nation will also help to reorganize operations at the venue to help increase “efficiencies” the company said. As well, Live Nation and Long Island Events stated that they plan to invest in a round of upgrades at the venue, including improved concession point of sale, parking lot upgrades and new backstage amenities for performers.
Also included in the planned upgrades is a new Wi-Fi system that will be available to customers, as well as new season tickets and other premium guest programs available at other Live Nation venues around the U.S.
The 2018 lineup at the shed includes performances by Cole Swindell, 3 Doors Down, Brett Eldredge, Frankie Valli & The Four Seasons, Dustin Lynch, Jeff Dunham with additional shows expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
