LOS ANGELES (CelebrityAccess) AC/DC will continue to tour and make records with Axl Rose as the singer, according to band biographer Murray Engleheart.
“Speculate all you want but I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: AC/DC will continue with Axl on vocals – new album, touring, the whole nine yards. What was a massive gamble by Angus turned out to be an equally enormous triumph that has set the scene for the future” Engleheart said on Facebook Jan. 2.
The band recruited Rose in 2016 to perform with them, leaving longtime frontman Brian Johnson behind. Rose spent his time balancing his frontman status in AC/DC and Guns N’ Roses. GNR has European dates this summer.
Brazilian journalist Jose Norberto Flesch said in 2016 after the retirement of bassist Cliff Williams that Young would continue despite the loss of his brother Malcolm. Malcolm Young, Angus’ brother and the band’s co-founder and rhythm guitarist, died last year.
