OMAHA, NE (CelebrityAccess) — Rapper Jay Z canceled another show on his current 4:44 Tour, citing technical issues.
Jay Z was due to perform on Dec. 6th at Pinnacle Bank Arena in Lincoln but announced abruptly that the show was a no-go. The cancellation follows a similar, and equally abrupt cancellation of his Nov. 1 performance at Save Mart Center in Fresno, Ca.
While the cancellations led to some speculation that slow ticket sales may be to blame with some observers noting that concert tickets for the Fresno show were selling for six dollars on StubHub, Jay Z said that the cancellations were due to not being able to set up the video screens he uses for his show in time.
“This tour is too important to me to do it halfway,” he said in a statement. “I have to cancel the show. I respect you guys too much to take the money and run.”
Tickets will be refunded at the point of purchase.
